*begs for more info*
Ok found it.
Married. Check.
Completely out of loop. Check.
Requests for wedding gift? Waiting.
I've been keeping an eye on this story too. See? People think I'm crazy when I say I won't swim in the rivers and such, but this is a great example of why not. You just. never. know.
Poor whales. :( And poor people who might have been caught off guard while swimming.
CNN is reporting the whales are trying to make their way out to sea. YAY!
OH.FER.HECK. Also on CNN I just saw my very first "i'm so and so and I'm running for President" commerical. And so it begins. *sigh* Give me strength.
Poor whales. I hope they made it out to sea.
And Augie? What in the world are you doing up at 3something in the morning?
I wasn't up at 3am my time, I was up at 3am Bravie's time.
Did they make it out?
Not yet. It's going to take awhile. But they are on their way. They traveled some 70 odd miles inland and I guess they have finally turned around and have traveled about 20 miles back towards the ocean. Such good news.
Shit. They just reported on the radio that the whales turned around again and are heading back inland. *sigh*
Ack! They need to herd them out.
That's their plan. To start herding them tomorrow. Problem is, this is a huge summer getaway place. And with next weekend being Memorial Day, they are worried about the crowds.
That's why the need to start now! Poor babies.
I'm currently incapable of reading anything sad without dissolving into a quivering mass so I'm just here to say hi!
Bravie, did you go check them out this weekend? They apparently had thousands of people flooding to see them.
