I'm skeeeeert
My house is gonna fall down. They are down there banging the hell out of the support beams. The cats won't come down from upstairs and I don't blame them. The entire house is rattling, there is stuff falling off the shelves and they have some jack things holding up the corner of my house. Waaaaah. I'm gonna be really pissed if the house falls and they ruin my beautiful television.

Updates: #1, I drank a little too much last night *glares at Arkie* I tried pouring singles and doubles but they came out triples and doubles. My head hurts.
The Tv is still safely nestled against the living room wall. Although as I look over there, the room looks tilted. Maybe when Michelle gets up she can confirm this.
They did NOT finish the house. They say they will finish late Monday. In the meantime the corner of my house is being held up by some support system that looks like scaffolding. If we have an earthquake before Monday, I'm losing the corner of the house. I just know it.
I'm not sure how this place stood before. We are three stories. Story one, the garage are carport, story 2 the livingroom/kitchen.dining area and a bathroom, story three the bedrooms, two bathrooms and the laundry area (well, laundry closet really) The beams that are supposed to support the house were soft as butter. Between dryrot and termites this place was being supported by cardboard. I think we may be lucky that something terrible hasn't happened.
Today, is a beautiful day. As soon as Michelle wakes up and inspects the corner of the living room for tiltage, we are headed off to Santa Cruz for a day at the beach boardwalk.
