My fancy poetry.
Football is nice.
My team sucks.
Bring back Jerry rice.
Even if it takes all our bucks.
Alex Smith is the worst.
I hate him, but don't want to see him in a hearst.
Will we ever be good? That I doubt.
Please football Gods, bring me something to cheer about.

Go Pack Go!!!
I give you: The Green Bay Packers.
When your favorite team sucks, just cheer for ours. :-)
The Cowboys kicked Philly's ass.
And it's hearse. Not hearst.
*smoooooooooch*
yes, but hearse doesn't rhyme with worst. *shakes head* Do you know nothing about fancy poetry? *grin*
No. I'm momma, not Kim. Kim is the fancy one, remember?
But you have the hottest coach in the NFL. Isn't that worth cheering for?
Mike Nolan *drool*
You could also cheer for Chris Cooley. Or you could cheer for Clinton Portis having a 196-yard rushing day.
Or you could cheer for that Viking dude have a 296-yard rushing day. Or that other dude for running back a missed FG. <---------- Any football fan could cheer for that. Or you could cheer for Brady being slammed to the ground and intercepted twice. Even if they won (*eye roll*), that's something to cheer about.
And I totally got the hearst.
*sticks tongue out at momma*
Oh I totally was rooting for Minnesota's Adrian Peterson. Especially since he is on my fantasy league team. He got me a whopping 46 points yesterday. Wooo to the Hooo for that.
Bravie kicked butt in FF.
Jerry Rice is hot.
I'll third the suggestion to become a Packer fan Bravie.
Adrian Pederson is on my FF team too. I kicked #1's arse. I was #2, now I'm #1! Bwhahahahahaha
So I heard that guy who ran the missed FG back was actually a 109 3/4 yard return. If he had put his heel down, he would have been out of the back of the end zone. Wow. Just wow.
At least the Bears didn't lose this week.
My work fantasy team won, mostly because I made a last second decision to bench Shaun Alexander and put in Jamal Lewis.
My other fantasy team is el-stinko.
I have decided to select the Packers as my backup favorite team. I've always been a fair weather football fan. I have a hard time really getting into any team, so I've loved the 49ers when they were good and I root for them to do well, but I lose interest when they suck. At least this year they held my interest through week 3!
So I need a backup. With all the Packer love around here, I've selected them as my backup team. Please not, though, that I will always root for the 49ers over the Packers should the two teams play each other. Even when the 49ers suck. Unless it's late in the season and the 49ers are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
This is the order of my footbal team love list. In order:
49ers
Tampa Bay
San Diego
Green Bay
*whispers* Redskins. <--so many reasons why I am not supposed to root for them. But I must for sentimental reasons relating to my grandfather.
My hate list in order:
Raiders
Dallas
Atlanta
Steelers
*whispers*
Yay!!
San Diego?! That's odd. I didn't think they were anyone's favorites...they just kind of "are."
My Caps suck ass.
They just can't make a pass.
And forget about a score.
It makes watching them a chore and a bore.
*sigh*
AHEM!!!!
Yep you forgot the Cowboys in the hate list.
*runs from Momma*
*evil eye*
Where exactly do you think the Cowboys are, if not in Dallas???
Purgatory?
*dumps bucket of ice on snowbreezy*
Ummm, hello? Where is your Colts love? Even though I hated living in Indiana, I always had, and will have, much love for my Colts!
Growing up in CA, I was more into baseball then and my love is for the Angels. My football love was seperated between the Niners and the Rams. My Granddaddy loved the Rams and my dad's family was from the bay area. I never liked the Raiders, though. Too thuggish for my sweet nature!!
Did you catch the last couple laps of the Texas race? Jimmy and Matt side by side?
*ignores all that silly football talk*
I'm not sure I hate any football teams but I was very happy to see my (inexplicably hated) Steelers whoop Baltimore's ass last night. If I were to hate any teams, I'm sure the Ravens would at least be #2 on that list. James Harrison rocked my socks.
I'm sorry your team still sucks.
My hated teams would be Dallas, Vikings and Raiders.
My love teams? Packers, (big gap), Steelers, Dolphins.
Poor fins. At least they didn't lose this week. Well, they didn't play.
*kicks momma* Everyone is kicking Philly's ass this season, there's no need to rub it in. :P
Quit your whining. You could be stuck with Rams season tickets. Talk about svckage.
I am stuck with the Vikes so I gave up on football a few years ago. My second favorite team would be Green Bay but according to the Minnesota Constitution I am not allowed to root for them until the Vikings have been statistically eliminated from any hope of post-season play.
I don't like the Bears, the Lions, the Cowboys or NE.
Hm, I had to ponder my love and hate list.
Faves:
1. Packers
2. Colts
3. Tampa Bay
4. Bears
Least Faves:
1. Viqueens
2. Raiders
3. Cowboys
4. Patriots
WHY does every single person have something against the Cowboys???? What have they ever done to you?
*mean girl cackle*
You have sheep???
*whispers to Momma* Um, they exist?
*gasp*
You still haven't updated!
*cries*
*pours Carey a drink*
*whispers to luna*
Maybe. Wait. I'm not talking to you. You kicked me. *points up*
You might as well repost your poem after last night.
