The crutch

This is the only thing stopping my house from falling to the ground. *gasp*
The rebel in me wants to walk over and kick it just to see what would happen. But there is that whole TV thing. Michelle said that she was also concerned about the TV. We DO have our priorities.

And just to beat Augie to the punch. Yes I know, if I kick it I will just bruise my toe because this crutch thing is firmly in place.

OMG! I would be freaking out. I would only try to kick it if it was the neighbors house, though.

Thanks Wheezy, thanks a lot. I finally got over the fear of the hangnail. the hangnail went away. Now that I read this, I picked at my thumb out of nervousness and have now created a new hangnail. *sigh*
I'm going to go stand outside under the scaffold and wait to be crushed to death.

Just remember that this is more supportive than what was there before. That should make you feel better.

I would so try to kick it to see if it would budge. But then again, the TV is an important household item. Is it one of those big ole hi-def thingys??

Well, it is a 38" or 40" (I forget) but not a Hi definition one. Ooooh, but wait. If I go kick the thing, the house falls and the TV is destroyed, the insurance company might buy me a new one. Then I could get the flat panel, mountalbe, Plasma TV that we have been looking at.

True Glow. Thos beams were like butter.

Hmmm, I was gonna request that if you go with the kicking option that you provide video for the rest of us to enjoy --- but now that you're dragging the insurance company into this, let's not have too much evidence of what really happened.

BTW, thanks for the link to my blog. I'm honored.

Eek! My back deck (2 stories high) is supported on two beams this were placed right at the edge of the hill. That scares me. Best of luck with the house fixing Carey. I know these things are extremely stressful!

Yikes. I'd want to kick it too. Just move the tv out to the driveway first.
