Rain, rain, go away
I know I shouldn't complain because most of you deal with severe weather and snow and ice.
Too bad, I'm going to complain anyhow. Rain sucks. Rain with wind sucks more. 7 of our next 10 days will be rain. Oh WOW, we just had a huge bolt of lightning and a large roar of thunder hit. It shook the entire house.
The rainy season puts me in a depressed mood. I'll probably be cranky until spring. Hrmph.

I spoke too soon about the floods on a hill. It appears that due to the construction going on that mud and debris has been washed out of the construction aread and clogged up the drains. We now have standing water in front of my house and it looks like the Colorado river flowing down the hill across the street. Maybe it will be too rainy for us to make it to the cookie bake. *crosses fingers*

We have beautiful fluffy white snow. It is falling gently all over town.

It's been raining here non-stop since yesterday. And it's really windy, too. It feels so strange to see such crappy weather. I kinda like it for a change, but not if it keeps up.

Hey there Debutante!
I am thinking about having a coming out party for you. No, not coming out of the closet but coming out into polite society--as a young lady. We can have the Cotillion over at Lobstah Cam!
I know how you feel. The weather has sucked here. All last week we had drizzle with high temps in the 40s. That sucks!
Do I need to wear a cocktail dress? Or a debutant dress? May I borrow yours, Monsty?

Oh fer Pete's sake. I love thunderstorms! Love them! Tom and I sit on the screen porch (usually with drinks) and just watch & enjoy them. I love the BOOM BOOM and great big sheets of rain. When our creek floods like it sometimes does we have fun guessing if it will take out our neighbor's house which sits much lower than ours.
Of course this morning everything is under about 8 inches of snow and the temp is -18'.
At least easter thunderstorms are warm. We were very chilly. *pout*
