Yay for me :)

I wanted to do something nice for Michelle since she threw me this spectacular party. But I wasn't sure what to do. Then when she gave me our schedule for the next month and half, I thought I could never do anything nice for her. Thanks to some help from Breezy, I did it. *big grin*
We are going to her sister's bachelorette party next Saturday night and Michelle had planned on driving. This meant no drinking for her. Well that would suck. So I booked us a room at a luxory hotel and it is in walking distance of all of the places we will be going to that night. I wanted to surprise her with it but Michelle and surprises go together like oil and water. So I called her and told her what I did.
She was shocked and happy and excited. She said that we could go there early and hang out (yes code) and then just get ready for the party at the hotel. I arranged for a late check out so we don't have to worry about getting up early and rushing out of there. It looks like an awesome room. I decided to upgrade and luckily they upgrade was cheaper when I called the hotel than the standard room was online. *hops*
We have a DVD player, a fridge, a microwave, a big king feather bed, a phone in the bathroom (always important) high speed internet which I will NOT be using, a private balcony, A coffee maker with Starbucks coffee, an extended floorplan whatever that is. And all within walking distance of where our partying will be.
*hops* She was so shocked that I did this that she didn't know what to say at first other than "honey, you didn't have to do this for me, thank you."
Yippee. Hearing her smile over the phone made me very happy today. :)

That is so nice, Carey. It sounds like the perfect surprise!

I guess she'd be mad if you married me, eh?

That sounds fabulous, Carey! I love staying in hotels with my sweetie - I'm sure you will have a great time. Before and after.

Wait. Michelle gives you a schedule a month and a half out? Wow!

Oh you have no idea, Swami. Without her giving me a schedule I would have no clue what was going on. She makes most of the plans for us and I always forget what we are doing and when.
I keep track of "little box friends" events and she takes care of the rest. :)

Hmmm, this "code talk" makes me think you aren't going to need anything but the bed.

Sounds like fun. You are very sweet.

The calendar cracks me up. It reminds me of a recent episode of Wife Swap.

How fun! Does a drunk Michelle mean you are more likely to get laid?
