Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Augie!!!!!!!!! I need you.
We are having a major thunder and lightning storm. So bad that awhile ago it blew the power out on my entire hill. I live on San Bruno Mountain and we have the power thingies up here and I think they're attracting the bolts. They have been hitting all night and at one point Michelle and I couldn't here each other talk because the thunder was soooo loud.
This is my house tonight...Lightning bolt hits the mountain...Carey "one thousand one, one thousand AAAAAAH!!!" ...Thunder roars. I skeeeeeert, Augie.

It's scary when it's so loud that car alarms go off. Other than that, I love the thunder storms!

Ya big baby! ;-)

This was really super duper ooper loud. Our entire house shook. It even scared Michelle a little bit and she doesn't scare as easily as I do.
I swear that the one that hit that blew out the power was less than a mile away. The lightening and the thunder hit almost simultaneously (sp)

I am a big baby. My mom called right after the power came back on and she was laughing her ass off at me.

Poor Carey.

I thought we were going to lose power this afternoon, but we didn't. Which is lucky, considering we've had "potential tornadic activity". "Potential" Maybe they don't believe the people who saw the funnel clouds rip the trees up by their roots.

I wish we still had the thunderstorm, but then, we all know what I like to do during thunderstorms, don't we?

LOL @ Monsty.

Carey, that wasn't a thunderstorm. That was a hurricane.

*snort*

Ya big baby.

Ummmm, next time?
Stay off the computer!
Turn all the electronics off when it's that close, better still unplug the TV's and the computer.

I hate when it's that close, we have a big pasture behind us, and it hits so close I freak. I have to pretend not to be scared though, or I'll freak out the kid.

*sticks out tongue at Monsty*

I was waiting for the hurricane comment from Augie. *big grin* she did not disappoint.

Thank you Nutz. It's nice to know someone cares.

*glares at Glowie*

So Buggy, it was wrong that I was on the computer and on the cordless phone and watching the news and had my cell phone still attached to my hip while I was taking a bath?
*takes notes*

SO cute. Did you curl up with your pillow and blankie and watch the storms?

I tried to, Momma. I sat in front of the window and watched it until it went bye bye.

What Buggy said. We have lots of iron in the ground around here, so lots of lightning strikes. My house has been hit twice, so I have had garage door openers, TVs and a microwave oven fried by lightning. Had to replace my whole circuit breaker box once.

We had a tree near my house hit one time - an 80 foot white pine. The trunk looked exploded, and the whole tree looked as if twisted by a giant hand. Very spectacular.

So. This means you will probably never visit me, right?
