Boring update
I don't have much of interest going on.
I have some sort of absess or something in my gum. It's so bad that my entire jaw was swollen yesterday to the point that I could not fully close my mouth. I haven't had solid food in two days. I'm giving it one more day before I call the dentist. It's better today than it was yesterday but I am still in massive amounts of pain. Talking is painful. *waits for sarcastic remarks*
Comcast has suddenly cut off my internet at home. I got up this morning and it said that I need to download their software and sign up for an account. Huh? My cable is working so it isn't from a missed payment or something. I just suddenly don't exist to them for some reason. so I have to call and deal with them when I get home. And as I said, just talking hurts my jaw.
As a result of being in so much pain yesterday, I spent most of the day on the couch barely able to move. The pain was bad enough yesterday that it actually brought me to tears. Michelle felt so bad and so helpless. She was wonderful though in trying to make me as comfortable as possible.
Unfortunately I got nothing done yesterday so I have plenty to do today after work. After dealing with Comcast.
I now have a third row of dead pixels on my laptop. that's going to cost me a couple of hundred bucks to get fixed.
Ever been in an argument with one of your best friends and not know what it is that you did? It sucks and makes me sad. Very sad.
the one good note of the day: I got an email confirmation this morning that I am indeed going to be sitting in a luxory box for this Friday's 49er game. I'm sure we'll lose but I have never seen a game in a luxory box and so I have something to look forward to.

Comcast sucks as an internet provider. For the past two weekends, I have not had an internet connection at home. If I don't have it when I get home tonight, I'm calling and being the worst bitch they've ever had to deal with.

I may soon be switching, too. I haven't had a whole lot of problems. Just last week and this week. I hope it isn't a pattern with them. I hate switching providers.

But if you'll pardon me...go to the dentist. DH never wants to go either. He always puts it off and then it's worse. It won't get better on its own. Make the appointment. You can do it. I know you can.

*HUGS* Forgot to say I'm sorry about you and your friend. I have experienced that before. Sometimes it's nothing that you said or did. It's sometimes just something they are going through and just taking it out on you. Hope it all works out though.

Carey, go to the damn dentist! When your gums swell & hurt this is what you do. If you don't then an infection from an abscessed tooth can spread to a perfectly good tooth next door and you will have two bad teeth instead of one!

The tooth is much better today. I've been digging at the gum with some weird dental things that Michelle has and I think I succesfully poked a hole so it could drain.
The swelling is way down, my jaw is no longer swollen and I no longer feel the sore lump near my gland. I'm pretty sure it is healing itself. *chicken of the dentist smile*
GO TO THE FUCKING DENTIST! You are not some magical healer. If there is an infection that you freaking need to drain? (Gross, dude.) You need antibiotics or something. Don't make me come over there and kick your ass.

If it is an abcess, it won't go away by itself. You may be able to get temporary relief, but the infection will surely come back.

I really think that I just had something stuck in my gum. I'm pretty sure it was a popcorn kernel. But I performed surgery on myself and I think that worked.
I'm not sure why dentists spend years in school. I performed that all by myself with no formal training. *grin*

Nutz, it's obvious what's happening. The self-performed surgery has caused the infection to move to the brain, which has altered Carey's thought process.
