Weekend Randoms
My friend Kimmy is in town. She forced me to go to Bingo last night. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I hate Bingo with a passion. But for Kimmy, I went. I won $350. :) Yay for me.
Tonight I will be hanging out with Catt, Nolay and Weltek. Go ahead and be gellus. Yay for me.
Kimmy is sleeping on the couch downstairs (that's where she fell asleep, we didn't want to wake her). But now I can't make coffee because I don't want to wake her. Boo for me. I need me some coffee.
I think tomorrow is going to be a quiet day at home. Football, laundry, downloading pics and downloading songs from iTunes.
I still deeply miss everyone who was here last week. *sniff*
I might have PMS, so excuse me if I am cranky.
I slept until 8:00am today. That is super late for me. Of course, I didn't go to bed until 2am but still.

I have never played Bingo with other adults - just my kids. Is $350 a typical jackpot? Jeez, I may have to take up Bingo!

Yay for Bingo jackpots! I have never played, except with the kids. I have a couple friends who go. Jackpots are anywhere from $250-700 per game. I really need to go play bingo.

I was not the queen. But the queen made a ton of money last night.
Bingos pay out $250 each. I won off the pull off tabs and didn't actually hit a bingo. Either way, I'll take the cash.
*sigh* another weekend random...*sob* I just had to say goodbye to another of my best friends. Kimmy was just here for the night and she just left. She'll be heading back to Mississippi. Saying goodbye to my closest friends is just getting to be so hard on me.
I finally broke down this morning when Michelle asked me if I was okay. I just started to sob. :(
Momma, be jealous of me getting to see cool peeps. Don't be gellus of the hurt involved when you have to say goodbye and don't know when you will see your friends again. *sigh*
I think I'll just mope around the house today until I get to see more peeps.
Well I'll be moping around my house as well. I know how you feel, sweetie.
So we are kinda moping together!
I think I'll just go take another nap until Wetek calls. Then maybe I'll do my nails. Everything else might be sucking, but my nails still look good. :-)
Oh for God's sakes you two! You act like it's a horrible thing. Quit focusing on the friends' leaving and how you miss them and such and be HAPPY.

I know, Momma. I am sooooo happy that I have been lucky enough to see my friends. The visits mean more than words can say.
It's just been a very difficult week for me emotionally and saying goodbye has never in my life been my strong suit.
It's been a week of realizing what I have and being grateful for those things. And also a week of self absorbtion and feeling sorry for myself for those who I wish were closer to me geographically.
Go look in the mirror and slap yourself once or twice. There is nothing you can do about where your friends live. Feeling sorry for yourself is not going to help.
Now, what time are you supposed to meet Kim and Nolay and Catt?
And for the record, you guys did NOT say goodbye. That was just a "See Ya Later" type of thing.
Wait a minute. It just dawned on me that you cried.
I take it back, all of it.
Well, in my defense, Dingus and I had a pretty big fight and that's been what has contributed to my foul demeanor.
It's all good now though so I'm feeling better and totally psyched to see my friends tonight.

I did cry, Momma. And those were Michelle's exact words. She looked at me and said "Carey's crying". I don't think she knew how to react or what to say. LOL
I've talked to Kim and to Catt and we are all a go for tonight.
Kim and Chris spent the day riding bikes up and down the hills of SF so we'll see what kind of shape they are in. *giggle* In case ya'll don't know? We have big hills here.
I'm feeling a little better now. I called Breezy and she called me a whiner and a couple of other names. Hearing a snotty voice on the other end of the phone helped me a lot. *smooch* to the midget who helped cheer me up.
I'm also now getting excited about tonight. So no more tears for me today. :)
