Ouch

It makes no sense to me. What you ask? Victoria Secret. first of all, everything in their store costs about 400 times more than any other store. And? I haven't found anything of theirs that is comfortable. Michelle spent a fortune on thongs for me there and every single pair feel like a stick is shoved up my ass. Target thongs are sooooo much more comfie and they are a fraction of the cost.
Today I am wearing a pair of VS flip flops. Super cute. Super uncomfortable. My neighbor gave them to me because they were a gift to her but they are too big for her. Now you tell me. Old Navy sells flip flops for under $10 and they are the most comfie of all flip flops ever. Why wouldn't VS make their overpriced stuff a little more comfortable.
I've given them a try over and over again and have decided that I am not going to shop there anymore. For that price, I want comfort. Now my poor feet are going to hurt all day. Hrmph.

Wal Mart flip flops are the best. I have my water ones and my dress up flips from there. All for only $3.

I just went crazy at Kohl's and got about 8 new pairs of flip flops. Adidas and Nike, both with memory foam soles and wet suit stuff on the top. best.shoes.ever. (but, Old Navy has a better color selection.)

Oh, and I hate VS. Complete garbage.

The owner and founder of VS lives here in Columbus. He bought out a quiet burg and developed it for the ultra-rich. He's obviously made a fortune on his stuff.

When he first started the Limited he stated his strategy: Buy the clothing at the lowest possible price, keep it up-to-date, and charge the most the market will allow.

VS's bras all have a seam across the nipple. That irrates my nipples.

Irritated_Nipples would be a good screen name.

I had the same realization about six years ago. Not to mention, their bras seemed to fall apart faster than ones I got at Kohl's/Target. If I really high end, I tend to hit a nice department store (like Macy's) and go for their nicer brands. Generally, though, I'd rather pay a reasonable price and get new undergarmets more often.

And again, I think flip flops are adorable, I just can't stand something between my toes. There are certain ones that don't bother me, but I generally just avoid the flip flop section. Guess that means more for you, bravie! <----hopes that suck up negates my anti-flip flop language.

Hmmmmm, this post had nothing to do with the ongoing contest. I guess I will need to come up with something that will earn points here.
I love being able to make up my own rules whenever I want. I feel sort of Big Brotherish.

I'll massage your sore tootsies but I draw the line at massing your sore ass crack.

I've never had anything from VS. And, I've never (and never will) wear a thong. *shudder*

I don't own any flip-flops but if I was going to buy some, I'd come to you for advice because you are wise.

VS - I've never tried their thongs because I don't wear women's underwear! Not even on the weekends.

Speaking of good screen names, on RTVW, the screen name "moron" is available! I think I'd like that one. :)

MTW <---- sucking up for some points!

The only thing I've ever owned from VS is lotion. And only because it was a gift. I prefer Bath & Body Works for that kind of stuff.

VS doesn't cater to girls my size, which is kind of stupid, because we like trashy lingerie too.

Aw. Sorry Carey.

But I have a couple pairs of thongs from VS that I love, love, love. They are cotton low rise ones. Just as comfy as any other pair.

As for flip flops, I had no clue VS had flip flops. But I won't be buying any based on what you said.

Besides, I thought VS was all for show and Old Navy was all about comfort.......

Flip flops rock! I love my LL Bean Maine Isle lobstah flip flops. Love.them!

No VS for me. Target suits me just fine.

LOL @ MTW and the moron screen name. There are more than a few posters over there that should use that name. :-)

Augie, do you think Bravie would give me more points if I suggested that Breezy take the moron screen name?

I'm glad Breezy is the pest. I was wondering if maybe I was being one. I was pretty darn busy cracking myself up here.

by the way....how do you copy and paste text on a laptop when you are using the silly ass little touch pad thingie??? I'm thoroughly confused by it.

Momma <-- laptop moron, desktop whiz

Momma, left click on the mouse button. While holding down on the left click, scroll over the area that you want to copy. Then let go of the left clicker and hit right click. It will say copy, just like on a desktop.

Momma - or... use your thumb to hold down the left mouse button and your forefinger across the touch pad to select the text you want to copy. THEN, use the right mouse button as bravie wisely instructs.
