Weekend Randoms

I woke up with a terrible lower back ache. I'm not sure why, I didn't do anything strainworthy.
(let me beat some of you to it...It's because I'm old, I know)

I think it's funny that people are coming out to SF and what they really want to see is our two story Target. LOL. Cheap and easy. That's how I like my guests. :)

I think I will be going to Target today. I ruined our kitchen garbage can ad need a new one. I forgot about some fish that I had in the fridge and I had to throw it out. I threw it out Thursday night and by Friday, then entire garbage can had absorbed the smell of fish and I can't get rid of it.

I want to go to IKEA but Michelle won't let me until after my birthday. I found a bunch of stuff in the catalog that I really want but she says I have to wait.

Final weekend random:
Last week I had asked Michelle "Hey, do you want to go see Chicago? Huey Lewis is playing the lead"
She said that she wasn't all that interested but if we were given free tickets, she would go. I didn't really press the issue but I was surprised because we both really enjoyed it when we saw it before and the movie is a favorite of us both. Still, I didn't really push it even though I really wanted to go.
Last night I just wanted to confirm so I asked her again. She said "Why are you so interested in this, I don't get it?" I said "Because we both really enjoyed it when we saw it before and we both love the movie so I thought you would like to see it again. Especially since Huey Lewis is playing Billy Flynn."
She got this weird look on her face and started to laugh. *head tilt*
As it turns out, she thought I was asking if she wanted to go and see the Rock Group, Chicago. And she thought Huey Lewis was opening up for them. She had no idea why I was so interested in going to see them because I had never showed a huge interest in Chicago. *snort*
So now, four days later, I got the go ahead. The only problem is that it is only playing for two weeks and I'm afraid that I may not be able to get seating where I want. I hate orchestra seating because you either end up in the front and tilting your head up the entire time. Or, you sit back further but have some tall bastard in front of you. I don't like the balcony seating because it's too far away. I will only see stage shows if I can get seating in the mezzanine/loge seats. So we'll see if those are still available. *crosses fingers*

Are you sure you didn't have mad, crazy sex last night? You may have thrown out your back that way. ;-)

I wanna visit your Target too!!! *pouts*

I bet Michelle is getting you a b-day present form your list of IKEA things you want. *grin*

LOL @ Michelle thinking you want to see the rock group Chicago! It's a good thing you asked her again. :P

You two are so damn cute.

If you go to Target, will you take pictures of the two story Target? I wanna see it too, even if that makes me cheap and easy.

Wow!

A two story Target?

How cool is that?

BTW, I pronounce it Tarjey because I am very classy.

LOL! Chicago has some good songs, but I can understand why she wouldn't be jumping for joy to see them. *snort* Yay that you might be going to the ballet! *wink*

The rock group Chicago was my first thought too.

We have a two-storey McDonalds in Minneapolis. All the Targets that I know of are one storey, I think. Even the Superstore Targets.

So who is going to SF now? I am so jealous! Will they be there for your birthday?

Take pictures at Target!

Hey wait a minute. I have BEEN in that 2-storey Target!

When Tom and I made our West Coast driving trip in May 05 we flew into SanFran and drove up to Vancouver. (That was the trip where I almost met Ginger but we only had about 30 minutes for the meet and all the parking around that tall tall building where she works has these color-coded parking signs that yabber on & on about how many axles you must have in order to park there otherwise you will be tagged, towed and shot at dawn and Tom freaked out and wouldn't park anywhere at all because what if we had the wrong number of axles!?! So I just phoned her & said sorry.)

Anyway, the Target wasn't near her, and it wasn't near where we stayed on Alamo Square. I don't remember whwere it was exactly - more out, lol. We stumbled on it while cruising around. Jeez, is that near you, Carey? Small world.

We bought 2 Eddie Bauer folding chairs and a cooler and car travel stuff to use on our trip. I didn't even think about the place being 2 stories tall. I was just annoyed that we had to haul our things down a stupid escalator and I couldn't find the bathroom, lol.

I went to Target today and I thought of you guys. *grin* I laughed because there was a lady there who obviously had never been and she got excited over the shopping cart escalator. *giggle*

Swami, this Target is just across the freeway from the SF airport. About 15 miles south of where Ginger works. You could have gone up the street where there is a public parking lot, silly.

I didn't tkae pictures. I'll wait for my company to get here.
We too pronounce it Tarjay. I didn't know there was any other way.
No crazy sex last night. Unless I was asleep. I better ask.

Here are my plans in a couple of weeks:
Wednesday, I pick Breezy up from the airport.
Thursday, I pick Nookie up from the airport.
Friday is my birthday party and Breezy,Nookie,Arkie,Ginger,Jimbo and Mcatt will be there. :)
So be gellus of me.

I'm still laughing about the Chicago mishap.

Aww how nice! Nookie is going too!

So close that I can have a drink for you that day! I don't think they will allow me in the hospital with the IV's. *grin*

Wow, several things:

1. Even *I* want to see the tw story Target and I live here and I'm a guy!

2. I thought you were talking about the "rock" group Chicago, too.

3. I had to put "rock" in quotes because it's hard to call that rock.

4. Bob, I pronounce your last name DAY-chem EAST. Does that make me classy?

5. I am very gellus of you, and jealous that J I M B O gets you ladies all to yourselves. It's not fair!

6. I always add the spaces when I type J I M B O's name. I don't know why.

At first, I thought that you meant you wanted to go to Chicago, Illinois.

We have a couple of 2-story Tarjays and also a 2-story IKEA.

A two story Target depresses me. Again, I do not understand retail stores that serve pretzels, popcorn and hotdogs.

Although if you go Target again today, get me a toothbrush please. All Stah got a hold of mine last night and let's just say, I don't want it back.

I thought all IKEAs were two story?
I'm thinking that maybe I will do an IKEA/Target world tour.

What kind of toothbrush? I don't want to get the wrong kind, there are so many.

Heh, Mark, one time I was looking up something on the boards and I was trying to find a post by Jimbo. I did search about 10 times before I realized that you had to do the spaces with his name.

Zombs is hooking up a wine IV on my birthday. Way cool. I think if you tell the Doctors that you want the baby early in the morning, you will ahve time to fly out here that night for the party. :)

Rose!!! *smooch* I miss you.

I thought I posted here earlier.

For a moment, I thought you meant the city of Chicago. I like the band, BTW.

I also want to go to a two-story Target. I went to Target twice yesterday. I love Target.

We have a two-story Barnes & Noble.

I always knew you were referring to the play Chicago.

*smug grin*

And MTW? I pronounce Bob's name as "mushroom hater".

Oh no, two women in a relationship communicate as horribly as a m/w.

I went to see the band Chicago once - the tickets were free.

I loved the movie!

Oh and we went to Tar'git yesterday.

Anatomically Lasann? I am a woman. But otherwise I am like a 13 year old boy. So normally the miscommunications are my fault. But this one I am blaming on her. I have never expressed an interest in the rock band Chicago. I don't own any of their albums. They aren't really my kind of band. Now, she knows that Chicago is one of my favorite movies and she knows that I loved the stage version. So why she would think the rock band just baffles me. *shakes head*

LOL at the Chicago confusion! Completely logical mix up once you think about it.

My back hurts because we moved furniture (to get carpets cleaned) this weekend. *Lays in bed, waiting for maseuses with Carey*

Mmmmm, IKEA. they also have a shopping cart escalator (at least at the Chicago one they do).
