Wheeeeee and darn it

We just had an earthquake. It was South East of Berkeley. I'm south west of there but only about 20 minutes away.
Wheeeee because I love earthquakes. Love them. (not the big damaging ones)
But darn it because if it could have waited just one little week, Breezy and Breezygirl could have experienced it. I ordered an earthquake for my birthday back in October so that Breezy and Nookie and Arkie could have felt one but it never happened. *pout*
Maybe there will be aftershocks for the next week and Breezy and Breezygirl can feel one.

I've always wanted to feel an earthquake. Not a big one, obviously.

I'm quite glad you didn't receive your order in October. I definitely would have went home early.

Little earthquakes would be fun. I have felt tremors, but never a big quake.

However, living where you live I would be nervous about The Big One.

Tornados are fun too, so long as your house is not sucked up by the vortex. The sky turns green, the air pressure drops, and there is a total silence of all wildlife since the birds & the bees are all busy finding a really good solid perch and hanging on for dear life.

The very first time I went to San Francisco I was hoppin' mad when I found out that there had been an earthquake while I was on the plane on my way there.

I was convinced that there would be an aftershock that I'd feel, so I kept a glass of water next to my bed so that I'd see the ripples if there was a quake (like in Jurassic Park when the dinosaurs stomp around.)

Yeah. I'm a dork. And the water never rippled.

I did feel my first earthquake when I was in San Diego last May. It was very small, and I didn't feel shaking as much as I just got a feeling like I was about to fall over for no reason at all. (I wish that were an uncommon feeling for me.)

If I ever come out to your coast, I would like a mini-earthquake, please. I'd also enjoy a hot young personal attendant to cater to my every need while you're granting wishes and such.

When I come to San Fran please don't be wishing for any earthquakes. I've already experienced one right here at home and didn't like it a whole lot.

As a matter of fact, I didn't enjoy the near tornado last summer.

You and Swami are just strange. *grin*

*giggle* I would like to experience a little one, too. You want to come and experience the 14 inches of snow we got this weekend?

As long as I'm safely down in the plane, the ground can shake.
