*sigh*

I deserve massive points for being a diehard 49er fan. Lord knows I must remain a 49er fan for the rest of my life since I had their logo tattooed on my body. Heh. We won last night but just barely. And not on skill. I have to say it, I certainly said it a LOT last night. Alex Smith is worthless. A worthless quarterback who needs to go back and play college ball because clearly he is NOT cut out for the NFL. He frustrates me beyond words.
I? am uber tired today. I didn't get home until close to midnight. Normally I get up at 4:30am but for some dumb reason I woke up at 4:00am today. I need a nap. May I borrow someone's lap to lay my head down and sleep? *snooooooooze*
My plane leaves two weeks from tomorrow!!!!!! How excited am I? *grin*

edited to fix errors due to not enough sleep.

I thought you'd be sleeping in this morning. I'm so happy they won for you.

*sniffle* I miss my Breezy and my Bravie. Not to mention my Lightsty and my Boo. And my Maroonclown and my Catt. I could go on and on. I'm really just craving some female bonding, I think. I should see if my friend wants to go for coffee after work at Peet's.

Hey, and it's almost been a year since I've seen momma and sonya. Same with MTW. It's only been a few days since I've seen dragonflies & frodis, my recent bloggie visit, so I don't miss them yet. :-)

You will have to share my lap with a large cat, but he is a purring machine if you find that soothing...

Four hours of sleep? Eek. That's not enough.

Sorry to hear your QB sucks. Although, this is good news for me. *grin*

Why is your plane leaving you for a week? And when did you get a plane anyways?

United struck a deal with her. They gave her a plane, she gives them gas.

I was gonna *pout* until Kim said she doesn't miss me YET.

I would offer my lap, but I keep having to stand up and help the idiots I work with fix their computers, printers, brains, etc.

Alex Smith is my backup QB. He does suck though. Sorry.

I really tried to stay up, but it was around 10:30 at the half. I fell asleep sometime during the 3rd qtr. Glad they won though.

I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, too. And I was at the game. *grin*

I watched the game but didn't make it til the end. I'm so happy it's football season again.

Kim, I've been ruminating a lot on female bonding. Mr. Fro asked me in the car on the way back from wisconsin why I feel the need to make more friends. He tells me that guys don't do that.

I miss Maroonclown and Catt too! And it goes without saying that I miss Kim! *smooooch*

Four hours? Ack! I hate days like that. I had a good sleep last night.

So all the emails today were a way of staying awake? *grin*

If you fall out of love with the team couldn't you get the tattoo altered so it said 69er instead of 49er?

I think I fell asleep between the two games. How sad is that.

But I did say to Michael, "Hey Carey is at the 9ers game."

Frodis,
I think the reason I feel the need to is because all of my "local" friends are moving in different directions in their lives and we have very little in common. I just don't feel that close connection with them anymore. Plus, when we moved out to the country, a lot of our social friendships fizzled. Not to mention Chris getting out of the Guard.

So, while I still have "local" friends, there are only probably four groups that we get together at least monthly with. Everyone else it's just a few times/year.

I'm kind of a social creature...I enjoy parties and outings. So that's why I'm looking for more.

Not to mention, when my friends have "girl day," they often scrapbook. So not my thing. I'd rather drink wine and eat cheese...so not their thing (90% of the time at least).

My local friends are in different places in their lives, and I only see them when we make a very specific plan to go out.

I have a draft about this, but felt it too mopey to post, but I feel like I need to make friends because the difference between working in a people-oriented job for 12 years, and then suddenly being at home all the time has been a far more severe difference than I'd realized it would be.

*sits with Weltek*

That's about as wild as walking out into Pleasantville last Sunday and finding all the womenfolk mowing grass.

Uh, no, I wasn't. For the record, I have NEVER, EVER, EVER mowed grass, and I don't ever intend to.

My mother purposely never "learned" to mow the grass. Unfortunately, I did not learn from her very well. Although, with the John Deere, Chris perfers to mow himself. He makes nice patterns. I drive around the lawn like a racetrack. Round and round.

Kim,

Chris mows himself? Wow! I've heard of manscaping, but I didn't know that anybody ever actually "mowed" it!
