Here's a Story

Why does Mr. Brady park the car out front when he gets home from work when they have a garage and driveway in the back of the house?

Who takes care of Tiger when they go to Hawaii?
And why would Mike's boss pay for Alice to go with them?

They went to Pearl Harbor. It's cool to see on tv a place where I have been. If you ever go to Hawaii, Pearl Harbor is an absolute must. It can be sad and depressing but I left feeling proud to be an American and proud to have visited. Michelle wasn't too thrilled when we walked up to the wall of names and like a 5 year old kid I yelled, and yes, I mean yelled..."Oh My God, Michelle, look, there is a (insert my last name) on the list of names, that freaks me out." She had to hush me like she was my parent. I got lost in the moment and seeing your last name on a memorial wall makes it feel that much more personal and real.

Back to the Bradys:
I sure don't miss the fashion from that time. Yikes!!!

If Alice really is like family, why does she call them Mr. and Mrs. Brady?

How old was Alice supposed to be?

I love the Brady Bunch.

I think Pearl Harbor is an absolute MUST see whenever anyone goes to Hawaii...however, don't make it the last thing you do! I went one morning and flew out that afternoon. I think cried half-way home. It hit me hard.

Mr. Brady didn't always park in front of the house. Sometimes, he pulled around back.

I am a peter fan...BRADY! Get your head outta the gutter.

I met Christopher knight a few years ago. He was a graphic artist and my company did some printing for him. I got him to autograph a Brady CD for me. Unfortunately *rolls eyes* he used a ball point pen and not a Sharpie, so it's hard to read.

They probably get Sam the butcher to take care of Tiger.

You're just so cute.

I didn't watch the Brady Bunch all that often so I don't think I can help you with your probing questions.

I hope to see Pearl Harbour one day but Hawaii has never been on the top of my list of places to see. Not that I have anything against it, there are just other places I want to go more.

I remember watching that show, but I don't remember any names except for Alice, lol. The mom was so perky she scared me--I do remember that!

I also remember loving their theme song opening credits, and the way they added Alice in the middle square when she was added to the show.

Oh yeah, Hawaii is a fabulous place to visit. My sister lives there so I have been a few times.

Oooh, I loved the Brady bunch too. And I feel like an idiot because I didn't realize that you were talking about them until like the third sentence. I thought you were talking about your neighbors or something.

I too would like to go to Pearl Harbor. We will probably only go to Hawaii once in our lifetime, so I would like to take Conner with us for him to experience it too.

No, we can't talk about Tony, though I did have a sex dream about him.
We won't be talking about that either.

You look better than Alice!

Can somebody please save me from work today?
Crap, I'm already late.

I want to go to Hawaii. And Italy. Ireland. Australia. New Zealand. Tahaiti. Aruba.

So many places, so little money.

*sigh*

Please excuse her from work today as she is clearly losing her mind.

Loved the Brady Bunch. It was as much of a childhood staple as the PB&J that I had every.single.day for lunch.

I wonder if Alice had her own bathroom and if she did, did the kids resent that the six of them had to share while she had her own? *ponders*

Didn't you see their garage? It's cluttered with crap!

And yes, it bothers me that she calls them "Mr. & Mrs. Brady." I thought the Brady's were hip enough to say, "Alice, call us Mike & Carol."

Peter...Brady...was always my favorite, too, vols.

Good suggestion, Arkie. I didn't think of that.

I can't imagine not watching the Brady Bunch. I still watch it. Obviously I watched it last night. *giggle*

35? Holy crap. I hope I don't look as old as Alice. I'm 39.

I love the theme song. I find myself humming it sometimes. Like right now for instance.
I can name all of the characters AND the actors who played them. Wow, I just realized that the Bradys aren't real people. Actors played them.

OMH, I never thought of that, Tkit. Who do we write to find out?

I love the Brady Bunch. Did you ever see that reality show on MTV about the 70's where people had to dress and act like that? It was funny in a stupid kind of way.

Do you ever watch the reality show with Chris Knight and he young women from the Surreal Life?

I watched one episode of That 70s House on MTV. The only part that I loved was when they had to get up & do the Hustle at odd times. For those that didn't watch, whenever The Hustle was piped into the house, they had to get up & do it.

A 4 a.m. Hustle is pretty funny.

I was strangely intrigued by My Fair Brady. Adrienne is one odd chicky.

I never saw that 70's show that you are talking about but I imagine the Hustle at 4am would be hysterical. I might start doing that at my house. *snort*

Adrienne is an odd one. I can't believe she finally nailed Chris down and talked him into marriage.

Check out this pic:

It is at the Mardi Gras Parade. You need one of these. Have fun with the pic!

Okay, back to Brady talk.

If Adrienne would open her mouth a little when she speaks, I might find her more appealing. One of the Project Runway designers (diana I think) kind of does the same thing.

I'll have to check and see. I have the movie at home. The first movie was better than the second one. They never should have done the sequel. Or is that another movie that I'm thinking about? Hmmmm.

I loved the Brady Bunch too, but I never had a crush on any of them. I guess I'm really shallow, because I never really wondered about where he parked the car or who watched Tiger while they were away. Now I feel silly for not thinking of those things.
Carey is so smart.

Gonna keep on, keep on, keep on grooving
Keep on singing and dancing all through the night
