Off for President's Day

We may go into the city today. It depends on how cold it is and what time Michelle gets up. Otherwise it may be a day of housework. Blah. Enjoy your day off if you have it off today and if not, well, enjoy your work day.

It's so strange to work when other people are off. Have a nice day, Sunshine Sexy Voice.

My husband, that's who! Yay!!! So today we will hang out, do a few things together and later he will hog the computer. Right now he's busy sleeping in.

Happy Housework, Carey.

It's a little emptier here, but I'm still here.

Sadly, so are the annoying construction people.

Happy President's Day! Isn't this the week all the stores have their bedding sales? Cool.

*snort* The View is on and Michelle just commented that Star Jones looks like one of those California dancing raisins from the 80's.

You Americans have way too many holidays. *pout*

LOL @ Star as a California Raisin. When Jamie was little I sewed him a California Raisin costume for Halloween. It was pretty cool if I do say so myself.

At least Jamie only had to look like one for one day. Big Fat Cow will look like one for the rest of her life. *grin*

Please do not despoil my love of the 80's California Raisin People by associating them with that New Yawker, Star!

I remember Hardees gave away little raisin people with their happy meals and we collected a whole bunch of them. I made a grapevine wreath & hot-glued them all onto it. Then I hung the wreath in a hallway and taught my kids how to sing & dance to Heard It On The Grapevine.

Swami! I still have some of Jamie's little raisin people! I think his were McRaisin people though.

Heard it through the Grapevine. *snort*
