A moment of silence, please!!!

Yesterday, Michelle had to lay to rest our beloved daisy tree. Really, it was her daisy tree but what is hers is mine. And so, after a short life with us, the tree has gone on to a better place. Please bow your heads and say a prayer and your goodbyes. RIP Daisy tree.

I get the Charlie Brown reference, but what's a daisy tree? I've never heard of one of those.

That ugly tree in the picture is a daisy tree. When I bought it for her, it had hundreds of daisies all over it. Since then, not so many daisies. Although yesterday, Michelle told me that wasn't true. That last year it had a ton of daisies on it. I only remember it as a one flower tree ever since we got it.

Well if you wouldn't smoke so much under it, maybe it will bloom some. *sparys perfume on tree*

Um Bravie? Please don't post any more pictures of plants from your yard. It makes me sad.

*grin*

And I bet you are tickled pink that Star Jones is back. *snort*

I don't mean to be condescending, but um, you do need to prune trees now and then to keep them at max bloom.

*waves*

(did you get anything in the mail yet?)

Woo Hoo!! Star is back. Oh how I've missed you, Star.

Michelle claims to prune this sad tree and she claims that I very rarely even notice it's existance so I have no clue how often it blooms.
I will be keeping on eye on it this year. A very close eye.

I don't smoke under it, TYVM. But I have been known to pick the flower and smoke those. Is that wrong?

*waves to Rose* No package yet. *hops and waits*

That tree species doesn't look familiar to me at all. The one and only time I drove around on the West Coast it drove me crazy that there were so many plant species I could not identify. Really crazy! In the Midwest and Northeast I can recognize and name just about every tree, shrub and forb.

Don't feel bad. I think this particular species only grows on my front door area.

Not very well, it seems.

Are you sure it's not an endangered species?

I made Michelle take a long hard look at it yesterday before we went on a walk. She tried to defend it but then I saw her turn her head and giggle. But she will not get rid of this damn plant.
Sentimental reasons. I guess the same reason that I won't throw out our mini pine tree that looks more than slightly deformed.

*gigglesnort* Poor poor Charlie Brown Daisy Tree. Every time I see them at HOme Depot, I say I'm going to get one but then forget. Mind you, I don't have a green thumb so I'd probably end up with a Charlie Brown tree also. I'd love it all the more though just to see that one bloom.

I have a mini pine tree. I inherited it from a coworker who left. So far it's still going strong. I'm tempted to plant it outside.

My pine tree is planted outside. I think the problem is that we need a bigger pot. It's outgrown the last one that we got. We got it our first year together and it was about a foot tall. Now it is about 4feet tall but it sort of leans to one side and is rather Charlie Brown in it's own right.
Heh, I bought the daisy tree at Home Depot. Oh no, maybe it was OSH. I forget.
If I remember, I will take a picture of my sad pine tree.

I was lazy and reposted an old post and changed the heading and the post itself. But the comments are still here. :)

I cannot even begin to tell you how much this post confused me.

Talk about being confused. For a brief second I think I understood what it is like to be blond.

I was confused but now I get it.

Poor daisy tree :-(

I saw some really pretty ones at Lowes a few weeks ago. I'll wait until next year to plant anything.

RIP daisy!
