Ugh! I understand your frustration. Karen used to get me flowers all the time, but now I never get any. Nope, she didn't recently fall out of love with me or become an asshole who doesn't buy flowers for her love.
Every time she brings me a plant or a pretty bouquet the damned cats eat it. ERG! I hate that! They will actively seek them out if we try to put them up or in another room. I wish I knew a way to have the pretty flowers and not have to lock my kitties away until the flowers are ready to either be tossed or pressed.
Oh, BTW, I am LMAO over your feline bush eater! *snort*
Yeppers, All star game tonight. Homerun derby was last night. I don't mean to brag but we have a beautiful ballpark and I am glad that it is getting national attention. Man, they were pounding the crap out of those balls last night. I think Pujols hit one that was something like 505 feet. Kabooooom.
Assie? We have the same problem at our house. We have even tried putting them up on the fridge and the little bastard finds his way up there. *shakes head*
On America's funniest home videos, they had a video like that. The little girl swore up and down that she had not eaten the chocolate. The fact that it was smeared all over her face did not deter her from her lie. *snort*
Out cats have never been the least bit interested in chewing on any house plants or flowers, although Graycie has occasionally destroyed a dangling leaf because of the 'irresistable dangle' cat thing.
Maybe on the day Michele plants her replacement flowers she could give the kitties their own flower pot planted with alfalfa and catnip. Our chain pet store (I always forget if it is Petsmart or Pets Unlimited) sells little pots of both of those at the checkout counter. Catnip seed is pretty cheap too.
That's what I told Michelle. to give up on her wildflowers and just plant the catnip. She asked why I didn't yell at him and chase him away. Come on now, look at that face. How could I yell at him? Never.

Framed! He was framed!
riiiight. Michelle couldn't understand why her flowers weren't growing. *snort* I caught him, the little turd.

Caught in the act! Does he have anything to do with the semi-dead tree in the yard?
LOL-thanks for sharing those uber cute pics.

That is hilarious. Too damn funny. Reminds me of Conner coming up to us with a face full of chocolate telling us he had not eaten any.

Bad pussy!
*gasp*
Jen may have just pushed you into the R category.
I do what I can. *grin*
awwwww. *kitty smooches*
That is so hilarious LOL.
LOL! Wierd. My cats don't care one bit about my houseplants or flowers. I've seen them chew on grass once or twice.
*snort* @ Jen!
LOL! Tell Michelle to stick plastic flowers in the pots. At least those will have a chance at looking purty. :D
Is there something you could put on or around the pot that would repel the cat but not harm anything?
My cat keeps trying to eat the ficus tree in the kitchen. Stupid cat. Altho, I suppose this is a step up from the moron cat who ate the lamp wire.
My old cat used to chew on wires so we put some bad tasting stuff on it. Some plants are poisonous to cats. My current cat is perfect *smug look*
My cat only pees on my plants.
My blog has a picture of a very cute gil.
What is GORP?
*snort*
Is blogger screwing up? I tried to post a new post and it will not appear.
And now GORP *yum* is gone?
Who is mom? Michelle? You? I picture you more as dad, actually.
MTW: GORP is Carey's favorite snack.
I think it stands for Good 'Ol Raisins and Peanuts. I call it Trail Mix, but the people in Jugville call it GORP.
TEST
TEST?
I was expecting a whack.
