I love my iPod

One of the things that I love is that I get to play Country in my car again. Last year we lost our one and only Country station on the peninsula so I had to resort to Cds that I made myself. Creating mixed Cds can be a pain in the ass. But now? I plug in my little iPod (have I mentioned how much I love my iPod?) anyhow, I plug it in and it's like my own little country station in the car. And if I feel like a change, I just hit the little button and suddenly I have my own 80's rock station. wheeeeee. I love my iPod.

I need to get me one of those things. Mind you, there wouldn't be much country music on it (if any). Glad you are enjoying your new toy. *smooch*

What about a funk station? Do you have a funk station?

I love my iPod too. And I really need to start using it again.

Nookie's iPod would just be full of Celine Dion. *giggle*

Boo, I don't have it labled as funk but it is funk. That folder is R&B. Even though most of it is 70's funk.

*rolls eyes*

I wouldn't just have Celine music. There would also be tunes by the Backstreet Boys. Sheesh.

I, too, have really got to get one of those new fangled do-dads. Of course, it will probably take me the next ten years to figure out how to use it, but I should get one anyway. Just so I, too, can be one of the cool kids.

Country, however, will be banned from mine. LOL!

I was worried about being able to figure it out. It took about one day. It's super easy to figure out. It was even easier to figure out once I read the manual. *grin*

I asked my 22 y.o. if she wanted an iPod for Christmas and she declined. Said enough of her friends are starting to lose their hearing and she doesn't need 24/7 music anyway. Very sensible of her.

So? Watch your volume Carey. OTHERWISE WE WILL HAVE TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS WHEN WE VISIT YOU. HOW ANNOYING WOULD THAT BE?

If I had one it would be to avoid Country Music, which is almost ubiquitous here in the midwest. Now and then there is a Country song I like but most of it just makes me scream & cry. Not in the good way.

*hangs head* I haven't picked up my guitar in weeks. Only a couple times since my class ended. Maybe I'll get back into it sometime.

Strangest thing. I got an email from iTunes and it's not the email addy that they have on file for me. It says I have an iTunes gift certificate waiting for me but it doesn't say who it's from.
Maybe I have to wait until I get home so I can sign into iTunes. I don't have it on my work computer and don't want to download it. Weird. I can't wait. *hops*

I have a question. It may be a stupid one but I'll ask anyway.

Is the only way to get music onto your iPod to download it off the internet? *hangs head in shame for not knowing this*

Like you Carey, we have no country music station and I get really tired of the same one classic rock station over and over again.

Dave wants satellite radio for the car for Christmas. Well not really for the car, it's really for him IN the car. I would like to have it but I don't like the idea of another monthly payment.

Yes Lights, as far as I know you can only download from the computer. You can download discs onto your computer and you can download from websites. Save them in your iTunes library and then they go into your iPod.
We just cancelled our satellite service through Sirius. We only had it for the car and because we each have MP3 players in the car, it didn't make much sense to pay the monthly fee.

I'm still loving my Sirius, although I haven't been able to listen to it in the car lately because my cigarette lighter thingy is broken. *pout* But I listen to it online at work all day and I listen a lot at home.

Okay, so here's my stupid question. How do you actually get the tunes from your computer to the IPod? Is it like some sort of flash drive or something?
