Thank you, Momma. Momma informed me that the complete DVD set of the Brady Bunch is being released. Guess what I'm spending my tax check on today. *hops*
I never buy stuff like that because I never get around to watching it. I can barely find time for the new shows I want to watch!
*hangs head* I have two or three DVDs I got for Chirstmas that I have not watched yet: Al Gore's thing, Laura (a classic movie) and the first season of Project Runway which I never saw.
So, how many DVDs does it take to hold the entire Brady Bunch?
Come to think of it, you do kind of remind a little of Jan.
Semi-amusing story. I had (and actually still have) an old college friend named Rhys. Rhys came from an old New England family chock full of academics, so growing she never watched TV. Whenever we would watch TV she would sit right next to the TV and face us and watch us watching TV. It was really quite annoying but it was also very Rhys. To this day, she cannot even name all of the Bradys- which is just weird for our generation.
Crap! I keep forgetting to do my taxes. I could really use whatever refund I'm getting back. Actually, I'm not forgetting them, I just don't want to do them.
So anyway, yeah. The Brady Bunch? Was that on when I was a kid? (Just kidding. I liked that show. Cindy annoyed the crap out of me.)
I heard an interview with Danny Bonaduce today (I know, he was on the Partridge Family). He said 40 million people tuned in each week to watch the Partridge Family. Compare that to the 20 million that watch American Idol or Survivor. It was probably a similar amount for the Brady Bunch.

Oh, and it comes complete with it's own shag carpet cover.
*rolls eyes*
OMH! I need this.
You are NOT helping.
I just ordered it on Amazon. *hops*
I can't help it! I wanted to be a Brady kid growing up.
You? are such a dork.
Did you get it with one day shipping? Or just the free shipping?
Which one did you want to be, Breezy?
I didn't do the free shipping because it would be an additional 3-5 days. I spend the extra couple of dollars to get it here this week.
Marsha ofcourse. *grin*
*giggle* That momma has all the news we need to know!
"complete"? How many seasons were there?
Five seasons.
21 discs.

PS I love how seriously Marsha takes brushing her hair. She as elevated it to an art form. I love how she brushes and talks at the same time.
It disturbs me that Jan is not everybody's favorite. I would expect Marcia to be Monsty's favorite but for everybody else? pffffft. That's all.

Actually, I looked it up. It wasn't on when I was a kid. I watched the repeats. :)
you amuse me.
Well, at least this will keep you off the streets and I'm sure your neighbors will appreciate that.
:-)
You are such a dork LOL.
