I am making bbq shortribs in the crockpot today. Mmmmm, are they ready yet? *looks at clock* Damn, 7 more hours.
I am home alone watching football today. Michelle is playing bingo with her bingo dork friends.
I think I am ahead of this cold that I am trying to catch. Double doses of vitamins, Zicam every four hours, lots of liquids and cold medicine just in case.
I have re addicted myself to Pogo games. Grrrr. Why? Why do I even go there? Now I can't stop playing Poppit and Scrabble. Stop me before I never come back again.
The Raiders are losing miserably. Weeeeeee.
My new company prints for the Raiders. Not weeeeee. Hrmph.
I started a book, I am 10 pages in and I can already tell I don't care for the book. I've read the same 10 pages over and over for the past month. Time to give up.

How were the ribs? Yummlicious? I hate starting a book and knowing it sucks. Such a waste.

I learned this weekend that ribs are in the top 5 of things a good hostess would not serve at a dinner party. Unless the ribs could be easily cut off of the bone with a knife and fork.
Or unless the hostess declares right up front that dinner is going to be "finger-licking good."
This has me longing for some ribs. I wonder if I could get some tonight and cook them in the crockpot all day tomorrow.
I picked the Raidahs to lose. That was more of the typical Raidas play.
I've been dealing with an icky cold for almost 2 weeks now. It's almost gone, finally.
I used to love Poppit! Oh, crap. Now I've got to go play it. Bad Carey!

We had a friend over on Sunday to watch some football and ended up watching a movie called "10 questions for the Dalai Lama" which was very interesting. However, I would've rather been playing Bingo instead!! Yep, I'm a dork, too! *waved to Mich*

The last book I read, and am re-reading, is called The Shack. VERY cool read! I really think you'd like it, Carey, even if it does talk about God. Really, check it out, I think you'd be surprised how much you'd find it interesting.

I've had Wheezy's book since the day it came out, but still haven't made it through.
How were your ribs?
I had bbq ribs too. And bbq chicken and roasted chicken and grilled salmon and roast pork loin and baked catfish and hamburgers. It's a long story.
I have never played Pogo games, but I just googled them and I may start. Which one do you recommend for the total addiction experience?
I haven't read a book in about 2 months, and yet I keep buying them! So I am 10 books behind - more or less.
