Mobile Karaoke

I realized this morning when I was driving to work that tomorrow is going to be like a 10 hour mobile karaoke. I was singing at the top of my lungs this morning (Friends in Low Places, for those who are wondering) and then I laughed. Because Breezy sings at the top of her lungs in her car as well. By the time we get to Lightsy's house we are going to be so rehearsed that we may have to try out for Canadian Idol.
I got to some serious packing yesterday. At first, I thought I could get it all into my medium sized luggage. About 1/4 way into that, I knew that wasn't working. So I stole Michelle's medium/large rolling duffle. Nope. And so it is, as it always is, my big luggage. Only now I have a whole bunch of extra room in it. *hops*
Have I mentioned that I am going to visit Lightsy in Canada, with Breezy? I'm not sure if I mentioned that. *grin*
Have a great few days my friends. Barring prison or death by Breezy, I will update when I get home. *smoooooooooooch*

Lightsy lied to me. Hrmph. She said the weather was going to be sunny and wonderful.

50s during the day and 40s at night. GASP. That's like really super duper cold. I hope I survive.

I got my finalized itinerary in my email yesterday. That makes it soooo real now. I'm going to Canada to visit Lightsy!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I can NOT wait.

She is a chainsaw murder and it has me a little worried. This is what she did to one of her visitors. Michelle knows and is still letting me go. That's scary. :)

MissRaven over on OT is my new favorite. She posted in Jbug's anniversary thread and her post is a hoot. It's a flyswatter, swatting a bug. I nominate that as post of the year. Thank you Breezy for pointing it out to me or I would ahve totally missed it.
If I were in the mood to get banned, I would reply to Jbug's post. Her response was "I don't know if you want me dead and gone"...I want to reply with "not dead, that would just be mean"

This breakfast bar was icky. It's the only one I had in my desk and it very well may be 12 years old. It was a Quaker chewy S'mores bar. *makes face*
I sure hope my double meat, double cheese pizza will be better at lunch.

I am going to need help

I did a stupid, stupid thing. *sigh* And there is no reversing it. No going back. It is done and I have to deal with it. I just don't know how I will be able to do it all on my own. *sigh* I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut and to think before I speak. It is an unfortunate side effect to being blonde.
So here is my ordeal. Any sort of input or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Afterall, you are the people who I come to for support and help with serious issues such as this.

So next week, I am flying to Michigan and then Breezy and I are driving up to Canada to see our great friend, Lightsy. So far so good. Also, while we are in Canada, Breezy will celebrate her birthday. Saturday the 29th is her birthday. Still, so far so good. But here is where it gets difficult and where I need your help...
I promised Breezy that since it was her birthday weekend, that I would be nice to her. for the entire trip. From the minute she picks me up until the minute she drops me off at the airport.
Now anyone who knows anything about the friendship between me and Breezy, knows how difficult this is going to be. We are going to be stuck in a car together for at least 8 hours up there and 8 hours back. And, we will be around each other in between those two trips. How on earth am I going to be able to be nice to her this entire time. Because anyone who knows Breezy, knows that she will probably antagonize me the entire time. *sigh*
Help me bloggers. Help me.

I deserve massive points for being a diehard 49er fan. Lord knows I must remain a 49er fan for the rest of my life since I had their logo tattooed on my body. Heh. We won last night but just barely. And not on skill. I have to say it, I certainly said it a LOT last night. Alex Smith is worthless. A worthless quarterback who needs to go back and play college ball because clearly he is NOT cut out for the NFL. He frustrates me beyond words.
I? am uber tired today. I didn't get home until close to midnight. Normally I get up at 4:30am but for some dumb reason I woke up at 4:00am today. I need a nap. May I borrow someone's lap to lay my head down and sleep? *snooooooooze*
My plane leaves two weeks from tomorrow!!!!!! How excited am I? *grin*

Hodge Podge

I've been sooooooo busy. I hate that. :)
I got my haircut yesterday. I don't care for it. But Michelle said she really likes it and that it makes me look younger. As of 8:30am this morning, I have had 3 other people tell me that they really like it. Even my boss, Jim, said he really likes my new haircut a lot. Eh, I'm not thrilled with it myself but everybody else seems to like it. Really the only difference is that she gave me a little bit of bangs. *shrug*
I am still waiting for addresses so that I can send out the prizes. :)
I am NOT happy with Big Brother right now. I hate 3 of the 4 finalists. That and my two favorite (Jessica and Eric) are now gone. I loved watching their budding romance. I just found them to be so cute together and I love their banter with each other. So cute.
I'm going to opening day football on Monday night. *hops* My team is going to lose but I love going to opening day. Plus, they are having a Bill Walsh tribute that night and since I wasn't able to go to the public memorial for him, this will be nice.
I'm still swooning over my new office crush. She's just too adorable not to have a crush on. She loves to pick on me and vice versa. It definitely has made my job much more fun these days.
I have 2 1/2 looooooong weeks until I hop on a plane to Michigan. From Michigan, Breezy and I are driving up to hang out with Lightsy. I am sooooooooo excited. Can't wait. Woot!!!

I am lagging

I have not forgotten about the prizes for the contest. I swear they will go out by the end of this week. Unfortunately, I didn't get to the store that I needed to get to in order to pick up those prizes. I haven't forgotten, just got busy.
I was hoping to go after work today but I had to work late and then even after I was finished with work, my new little office crush kept me there later and I can't very well tell a pretty lady that I have to leave her. *grin* So I didn't get to the store after work today.
Tomorrow, I will get there. I will make sure that I am out of work on time. *crosses fingers*
