Word of the day

If you can figure out the word of the day, you could rack up the points. I have not revealed my point system yet, nor will I. BUT...I will tell you that the word of the day will get 25 points evertime it is used. In an effort to keep down the number of posts by you people trying to rack up points, if any word is used more than 5 times in an attempt to gain points, 25 points will be deducted everytime you use what you think is the keyword. I will allow the usage of a word 5 times before penalty.
For example, Breezy who thinks she knows me so well will probably come in here and post the word "Niners", 40 different times. She will think she is getting points. In fact, everytime after using that word 5 times, she will then lose points everytime she says "Niners".
So that is your hint that the word Niners is not the word of the day.

A contest hint

No points are given for butt kissing in this contest. Except for Arkie. She has always been an excellent butt kisser and that was prior to her thinking she might win something. She can continue and she will still get points. But that's it. All other butt kissing does not garner points. Different points are awarded for posting. How many times you post and what you post determines those points. Be careful. I have a target word. If it is used in a post, points are deducted. No, i won't tell you what the word is but it is a common word. I don't want the point system to seem too simple.
There are ways to gain and lose points outside of the blog. But I'm not telling what those are.
I will have prizes for the first four places and for the last place. Pray that Breezy continues to be, well, Breezy. Because she loses points on a daily basis and nobody wants the skunk award. She gained a few points today for good behavior but that can't last so I wouldn't worry too much.
We just have a few short days left until I announce the winners. And loser. :)
There will be the chance at double points and bonus points on Friday. I already have a keyword that will get you extra points. Everytime that keyword is used on Friday, 25 points will be awarded.

It makes no sense to me. What you ask? Victoria Secret. first of all, everything in their store costs about 400 times more than any other store. And? I haven't found anything of theirs that is comfortable. Michelle spent a fortune on thongs for me there and every single pair feel like a stick is shoved up my ass. Target thongs are sooooo much more comfie and they are a fraction of the cost.
Today I am wearing a pair of VS flip flops. Super cute. Super uncomfortable. My neighbor gave them to me because they were a gift to her but they are too big for her. Now you tell me. Old Navy sells flip flops for under $10 and they are the most comfie of all flip flops ever. Why wouldn't VS make their overpriced stuff a little more comfortable.
I've given them a try over and over again and have decided that I am not going to shop there anymore. For that price, I want comfort. Now my poor feet are going to hurt all day. Hrmph.

What happens in Vegas...

Since we went for Michelle's birthday, I thought I would start with pictures of her cake and little birthday table. I really didn't take as many pictures as I had thought. Everyone else seems to have a ton more. so here are just a couple of the few that I took.
All in all, we had a wonderful time. I don't have any presentable pictures of our day at the cabana. We rented a cabana by the pool one day and it was like living in luxory. Our own little area, roped off from the little people. *grin* Otherwise, we just gambled hard, partied hard and barely slept. A great time was had by all.

I typed out a post and blogger ate it. I'm sick with a bad cold and don't feel like typing it out again.
Basically it said that I have a lot to do between now and when we leave for Vegas on Wedensday morning for Michelle's 40th birthday. Hrmph.

Rapunzel, Repunzel, I only want to look at your hair

I'm shallow. Deal with it.
I always thought that a woman who had really nice, sexy hair would ALWAYS be hott!!!!
Ack, was I ever wrong.I was walking through my office today and noticed a women in our conference room who had beautiful hair. Long, lucious, curly, highlighted. Made me look. I figured that a woman with hair that hott had to be worthy of a look. So I found ways to keep walking by the conference room until she turned around.
FINALLY!!!!! she turned around.
ACK!!!! I ran the other way.I'm not talking run of the mill ugly. I like to think that I appreciate the beauty in almost all women. I almost always will find a woman to be attractive if her personality trumps her looks. I also truly believe that I have no ugly friends. If I love you, you automatically become beautiful in my eyes. And I have also been told that I tend to find non traditional hotties to be hot. Not this one. Holy shit. She wasn't deformed or anything like that. Although it would have improved her looks. Her hair made her look like she was probably in her early 20's. Her face made her look like she was born in the early 20's. The worst thing was, if she put as much time into her face as she does her hair, she may be passible. With just one paper bag. I literally gasped when she turned around.
I asked my coworker about her after the meeting and she is a salesperson for a trucking company (honey, you aren't supposed to stand in front of the truck when it pulls out of it's berth) and she is in her late 30's and she is a hippy. That is all that I learned of her. I will agree that she looked like a Birkenstock wearing hippy. Which I generally find attractive. Eck, not this one.
And that is my shallow moment for the day. I will go to hell and yes, I feel bad. Because I really do not like to judge a book by it's cover. I don't tend to think of myself as that shallow. I get a free pass every once in awhile. Me thinks.
