I got luggage

*hops*
Tehnically it is a rolling dufffle with a smaller duffle and a sling. (not that kind of sling, ya pervs)
But Michelle bought one too. Weeeee. I love to buy luggage. I have entirely too much luggage but none of it was carry on size. It's not expensive luggage like my real luggage but it's luggage. Wooo Hoooo.
And? it has a separate little area on the bottom for shoes. SHOES!!!!! *jumps up and down holding privates so I don't pee myself*

I had a dream

It's strange because it involved my Grandmother and I have not had a dream about her since she died on December 10th, 1995.
The dream: I went to a family reunion. I remember all of my Mom's side of the family being there and Grandma was sitting at the head of the table. We were all seated outside and eating fresh lobster and crab.(I used to go crabbing in Virginia Beach, where Grandma lived)
I wouldn't eat the lobster in the dream because people were pulling off their front claws and the lobster were running around alive on their hind claws. they were about two feet tall.
After we ate we all went on a trek but then got kidnapped by a cult. We rode through these secret military tunnels and then were forced to start a new colony with existing kidnappies.
At one point I had to have blood drawn and it freaked me out. I remember screaming and crying in my dream when they were taking the blood.
The doctor came back and said that I didn't have enough energy in my blood and that I needed to start taking more energy pills. After that, I tried to escape the colony but a huge 20 foot python wouldn't let me leave the area. So I ate pie.

Friday randoms

I slept in until 6:00am this morning. I took my vitamins, drank my coffee and I feel as if I have some energy.

I feel like I am coming down with a cold. *sigh*

It's raining outside and I hate winter. I want sunshine and heat.

I will NOT be hitting the stores today. I was going to do my cookies today but I don't really feel like it. I'll do them when I get back from Pitssburgh.

My neighbors need to shut the fuck up before 9:00am. Umm neighbors? Playing your rap music at 97 decibles at 7:00am is NOT acceptable. Did you forget that we have one wall attached to yours? It wakes up my woman, makes her cranky and in turn makes me cranky. Shut the fuck up you inconsiderate fucks.

I have no idea what I want for Christmas. My Mom is asking for my list and I have no clue this year. I can't trust her to buy me clothes. She thinks that plaid/polyester is still in style. And she thinks that I wear granny panties. I DO NOT.

Michelle has suggested that we pack only carry on luggage for Pittsburgh next weekend. This will be twice in one year that I will have to curb my packing. Yikes!!!

Bad idea

Michelle called me at work today and said she had picked up some steaks for dinner. YAY!! I am a red meat eater. I need to eat red meat at least two to three times a week, MUST.
When she got home from work she said she didn't feel like cooking, nor did I so she wanted to know if I wanted to order a pizza. Nah, just had pizza yesterday.
So while I chatted with Monsty, Michelle nuked herself a frozen dinner. I wasn't craving any of the frozens so I didn't eat.
Then I got hungry. I had bought two things of crescent rolls at the store today because I am making a finger food hors de heuver thing for tomorrow. It only calls for one thing of rolls so I had this whole other one just sitting in there.
I ate them for dinner. All of them. Just the crescent rolls with butter. And a huge glass of milk. Now I have a belly ache. That was a bad idea.

Make me smile

Day two of the computer saga begins. I still have to install all of her other programs (word, spreadsheets etc.) and I have to figure out how to get the wireless card to work again.
On top of all of this, we have a Homeowners Association meeting that we MUST attend because they need someone with an actual backbone to be there. Our construction has been halted for over two months now because of some disputes. Our project manager is about as forceful as a limp dick and I have resorted to calling him "limp dick". Not to mention the fact that we are the ones who have been pushing for this meeting. So between the two of these things and my wifely duties *grin* I have a busy night ahead of me.

SO MAKE ME SMILE DAMNIT!!!!!

I am just ready to cry

I have been working on Michelle's computer for over 5 hours now. I was on the phone with Dell for over two hours.
It ends up that the Anti Virus program overrode (?) all of the programs and we were unable to fix the problem. We had to completely erase her entire hard drive and rebuild from scratch.
To top it off, I can't get her wirless card to work either. so now I'm downloading her party poker on DIAL UP.
I'm just mentally exhausted and now know more about Dell computer than I ever wanted to.
Today has not been a good computer day for me.
To make it worse, I have Michelle in my ear making suggestions. Which really is very nice of her but she knows squat about computers. Hard drive to her means sitting in traffic in the rain with no headlights.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Computer experts?

We loaded the new Norton antivirus 2006 on Michelle's laptop. Now her computer is virtually dead. I tried to reboot but when it comes up nothing will load and it freezes. It is on Windows XP and it is about 4 years old. I can't start it in safe mode. I can bring up the control panel but then it won't let me open anything in the control panel.
I am going to try and reload Windows with the recovery disc tonight but I have a feeling that the disc drive is going to be frozen as well.

Any suggestions?

Yawn!!!!

I need a nap already.
After watching Glowie get married yesterday we went to a party for a friend's 40th birthday.
*sigh* I remember being a kid and my parents going to people's 40th birthday parties. When did I become old?
Anyhow, after a few cocktails, Michelle invited the party back to our house. We got home before everyone came over and thought that maybe that was the moment that we should have a huge blowout. Full on screaming match with each other.
Then everyone showed up and we put on our "in public" faces and pretended to not be fighting. Once everyone left Michelle turned on the TV and I checked my email and then watched Glow's wedding again. *waves to Glow*
When I was done watching THAT video I noticed a sound coming from the TV. One that does not normally come from the TV when Michelle is watching it. I raised one eyebrow and then realized what she was watching. Let's just say that if you get Showtime, you should watch it late night on Saturday. *big grin* It was a good "let's make up" show. *bigger grin*
So after being up since 5am yesterday I was ready to go to sleep at 2am last night. And my usual internal alarm clock went off this morning at 5:30am. I stayed in bed for about a half hour and then finally got up.
Now I'm exhausted as usual and I have to entertain some people today. I'm sort of hoping that two of the people who are supposed to come over end up not. *yawn*

Sh!t

A gnat just flew up my nose. And I mean way up my nose. I tried to blow it out but I don't know where it went. It made me sneeze. It's very bothersome, I have to say. So either A) I have a bug flying around the inside of my head or B) It could have been an ash.

Crosses fingers

We are having our new server installed at work on Friday. At first they said that we would have no computer all day. ACK!!! Then they said that we might. ack!!!.
What the hell would I do at work all day if I couldn't acces blogs, me personal email, the internet? I only have enough work to keep me occupied for maybe an hour. *sigh*
But, as I was leaving today they said that it is a 90% chance that I will have my internet tomorrow. Whew. I was almost thinking of calling in sick. Heh.

P.S. briefly talked to Glow. She was getting on the plane. She had just come from smoking two quick smokes and pounding a couple of beers. That's my girl.

Monsty lies

She made up a horrible lie this morning about Augie. And then I yelled at Augie. And now Augie is sending me pictures of Star Jones for Christmas.

Vegas with Breezy

Well, here is the one and only picture that I have with Breezy. This was taken about 15 minutes after I finally arrived. We just had so little time together that we didn't get any pictures and we made no drunken phone calls.

So, now that I sit down to write this, there isn't a whole lot to report. Like I said, we were short on time.

I was lucky enough to catch an earlier flight and I got to the airport around 4pm. I called Breezy and told her to meet me at my hotel. Well, an hour later, I finally got there. *sigh* Breezy got tired of waiting for me out front so she called Michelle and ended up hanging out with her until I finally got there.

We went up to my room so that I could change (heh, looking at that pic it looks like I am wearing a bathrobe, I am not) anyhow, after changing we went down to the bar and had a couple of drinks. Started off with shots of red headed sluts. *grin* After a couple of drinks and lots of talking and hugging and giggling, we took off for old downtown to meet up with Michelle's sister and her clan. I'm so excited that I was with Breezy that I can't remember the exact order of things. We ate dinner, we got 2 foot tall margaritas, we got drinks out of footballs. *shrug* We watched the amazing Fremont Street experience which is a light show that takes place on the ceiling spanning about two city blocks and is entirely made up of light bulbs. You have to see it to experience it. Breezy can explain more if she gets to this post in time.

Anyhow, Michelle went gambling with her sister and Breezy and I just hung out, walking around, talking, laughing, soaking in the small amount of time that we had together. She bought a sweatshirt for all of us to sign but the dork forgot to leave it for me. *giggle*

Then we went back to our hotel and hung out in the bar. Michelle went up to the room around 1:30am because she wasn't feeling well. So Breezy and I hung out in the bar and had a few more drinks, a lot more talking, a lot more giggling and an overall great time.

I sure wish we had more time together. It just didn't feel like enough time to spend with someone who I very rarely get to see. I won't complain though. I have seen her twice in the past 6 months. Anyhow, Breezy had to leave her room for the airport around 4:00am so she needed to get going from my hotel. She left around 2:45am. I walked her out to the cab and off she went. *waves bye to Breezy* *sniff*

So it doesn't sound wild and wacky but I for one had an incredible time. I love every minute that I get to spend with Breezy and am so grateful that I was able to spend even the small amount of time with her that I did.

*smooch* to Breezy. Thanks for such a great time.

Just a quickie

Quickies can be okay too.
This is a short post. I'm mentally and physically exhausted but just wanted to say hi and give a quick update. I'll be catching up on the rest of your blogs tomorrow.

My Dad is doing great. Thank you for all of the warm wishes and prayers. It must have worked. The doctor said his recovery has been above and beyond what they thought. He is going to be going home Monday night. Very good news. I got to go and see him tonight. My brother picked me up at the airport and took me straight to the hospital. He looked a lot better than I thought he would.

Vegas: I got to hang out with Breezy on Friday night and into Saturday morning until she had to go. Breezy is just so much fun to hang out with. As I said to her, I can't put inot words how much I love hanging out with her. She and Michelle got along great and they are two of the biggest dorks that I know. *snort*
I'll probably post a more detailed post about our time on Friday night but at the moment I'm just too tired.

I missed everybody and thought about you when I was in Vegas.
*smooches* to all.

Here and there

I'm off work today. I have a million things to do today and will be in and out of the house all day. I'll probably be around tonight though. I can never stay away for very long.

Tomorrow is my Dad's surgery so I will be around in the morning and then missing until Sunday or Monday. I'll be at the hospital with my family until the surgery is over and then, if all goes well with the surgery, I will be heading off to the airport to leave for Vegas. Breezy is going to meet me at the airport and then we are meeting up with Michelle and the rest of our group and then I believe I will be getting drunk. Yes I will.

*smooch* to all.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Augie!!!!!!!!! I need you.
We are having a major thunder and lightning storm. So bad that awhile ago it blew the power out on my entire hill. I live on San Bruno Mountain and we have the power thingies up here and I think they're attracting the bolts. They have been hitting all night and at one point Michelle and I couldn't here each other talk because the thunder was soooo loud.
This is my house tonight...Lightning bolt hits the mountain...Carey "one thousand one, one thousand AAAAAAH!!!" ...Thunder roars. I skeeeeeert, Augie.

My random questions

1. Coffee? black, sugar, cream?

2. Weiners: ketchup? mustard? relsih? kraut?

3. Steak/Burgers: rare? well done?

4. Milk: low fat? whole vitamin D?

5. Coke/Pepsi/other:

6. Morning person? Night owl?

7. Smoker?

8. Drinker? What's your poison?

9. Hair: colored or natural?

10. Airborne: with or without water?

My response to Rudy

The post that will probably get me banned, if not at least warned. Rudy said it was interesting that other poster don't get criticized the way that he does................
My response to him:

What's interesting is that Cahaya asks for opinions on both sides in a non judgemental way and appears to have an open mind and seems to be truly interested in both sides. Quite honestly you try and shove your Dogma down our throats, you judge us even though you try to say that you don't. You repeatedly have compared homosexuality to incest, polygamy and beastialty whether or not you will admit to that here. You continue to insult and continue to offend many people here, both gay and straight even though you say that is not your intention. You try to hide your bigotry behind your bible and your God and religion and nobody is buying it any longer. When you can propose a question in the same manner as Cahaya then perhaps you won't undergo those criticisms. When you take a look around and see that everybody else seems to have a problem and you are the common denominator, perhaps everybody else isn't the problem. There are a handful of other posters here who are anti gay marriage and you are right, they don't get the criticism that you do. There must be a reason for that. Perhaps you should take a look in the mirror and figure out why that is.

I'm seeing red spots everywhere

I just ate a pomegranite (sp) and I just tore into it with much much fury. I love them. Those little red seedling things that go crunch in your mouth. Unfortunately they spewed little red dots all over the place. Everytime I go to a new website I find more little red dots on my screen. I'm wearing a red shirt so I'm safe there. But man o man do I have a mess on my puter screen. OOps, and I just found a little spot on my letter F on the keyboard.

Now who were we talking about before?

Why do I despise Rudy

Go to the other place. Read HD's thread. The one titled "This makes me sick"
I don't despise everyone who is against gay marriage. My own Father believes in me being extended all the same civil rights as straight people but he doesn't want it called marriage. Fair enough. But he isn't a huge motherfucker about it the same way Rudy is.
FTR: Rudy gives Michelle the creeps. She said that he looks like a Chester the Molestor and she wouldn't be surprised if all of his rants are just a disguise for something.
Yep, Rudy is an arrogant and ignorant asshole. I'm not afraid to say it.

POUT

Blogger isn't let me upload any pictures today. It let me yesterday. *pout*
I'm not doing anything differently and I tried to upload the same picture as yesterday just as a test and it still isn't letting me.

I was trying to post pictures of my cats and I wanted to know if they looked more like me or more like Michelle.

I guess we'll never know.

I think I bored CSTL

Edited to add the picture. I hope Steve doesn't mind. *smooch*

Guess who I met last night. If my title didn't give it away, you're blonder than I am.

Ginger, Mcatt and I met Steve last night. We all met at our usual meeting place, The Boulevard, which is a bar/restaurant down near the piers. Unfortunately, I was not my usual self and Steve probably thinks I'm quite boring. Had it been any other time I would have been up for a long and crazy night of partying. Ginger, Catt and I do have a reputation to uphold, ya know.
This has obviously not been one of my better weeks. I did go home after work yesterday and take a nap in hopes of gaining some energy. I was just wiped out from the stress of the prior two days.
My mental and physical state aside, I had a good time and I would have been disappointed had I not made the trek into the city to meet him. I just wish I had been more fun and had more energy. We hung out at our bar and sipped on Cosomos and Martinis and chatted up a storm and giggled and had a relaxing night.
Be careful though. Steve seems to not know where his mouth is in contrast to his glass. *snort*
But he is fully aware of how to use his camera. LOL. Everytime we turned around there he was snapping a picture. Syren warned me that he was quite the picture takerer. She was right about that. Im still seeing flash bulbs. I'm not sure if he will be posting peep meet pictures on OT or not. Maybe he;ll be kind enough to email the pictures though. Hint, hint.
Steve was a great guy. He put up with the three of us women who just babble and babble forever. I'm not sure that we let him talk much and I'm sure he was glad to give his ears a rest at the end of the night. He was very much the gentleman, picking up the tab at the end of the night and putting up with us.
Another successful, yet mellow, peep meet. Thanks for everything Steve. I promise that the next time we meet I will have more energy, be more fun and not smell like ass in the eye area. *smooch*

Preperation-H

Is supposed to help puffiness under the eyes. Let's hope it works today.
I really hope it does because I would hate to think that I am walking around all day having my face smell like a puffy ass. And? the stuff is greasy too. Yuck!!

Blog party

Change in plans for the blog party. Monsty will not be holding it, I will. She got tired of trying to meet my schedule.

So here's an idea. When is best for everyone? It can't be this weekend or next weekend though.
So do you prefer a Friday or a Saturday night?
What time is best for you (give your time zone)
After tallying the responses, I will pick the time and date that fits the most people's schedule.
There will be booze and music and maybe even a stripper or two or four or seven. If there is enough booze it could end up just being a nekkid blog party.
There will be food. Both snack food and main courses. Feel free to bring a date or just bring yourself.

That is all for now.

Thanks

Thanks for your input on the last post. But I would like to take it off the front of the page so I'm starting another thread. Are they called threads here?

How many pair of shoes should I bring to Vegas. Normally I bring about 6 pair. I would like to scale back this time. Do you think I can get by with just 5 pair?

Rare serious post

Maybe this is more of a poll than a post.

1.Does your significant other get upset if you talk to your friends about personal things?
2.Does your S.O. have friends that they talk to about personal things? And if so, does it bother you?
3.Are you an open book when it comes to personal things? And if not do you have certain friends that you feel comfortable enough to talk to?
4.Does it make a difference to your S.O. if they know the person or persons that you feel comfortable enough talking to?

Holy Shit!!!!

Michelle just called me and wanted to know if I wanted Sushi for dinner. She has been craving it since the other day. *GASP*
I'm in shock.
